Pest controllers found a rat the size of a small child yards from a kids' play area on a housing estate in east London.
Gas engineer Tony Smith, 46, spotted the four foot long rat while working at a block of flats Hackney Downs.
The giant rat, which weighed almost two stone, was spotted lying in a bush next to a popular children's playground.

Swiss - I see hares two or three times a year in England, and I live on the edge of a city.
Never seen them in March though.

Yeah 2.5 foot of tail and 1.5 foot of body. Still pretty big.
Its actually the tail that creates the most phobia. If it didn't have one it would be like a cute guinea pig

I had a beef chow mein from East London last week and The beef was very tough and tasted a bit different, Chinese take away's will be making a killing, and if the Turks hear about these gigantic Rats Doner kebab is off the menu for me.
